The Penshurst Arms
Complete refurbishment of a large Victorian public house, and the construction of two new houses in the existing rear garden. The existing pub has been sensitively restored with an additional roof extension, to provide four duplex apartments, and at first floor a single level space with a full width reception. The zinc clad houses have stepped levels to create a flowing internal layout, and allowing light to reach the sunken lower level, where east facing gardens and terraces are located.
